Charles Limbert large rocker with back cushion & heart cut out design in a single slat under each arm. Original finish with wear to the finish on the arms from use, no looseness. Signed by brand under the arm & stenciled catalogue number under the seat. The silver gray leather was added at sometime, two of the three original black screws for attaching the back cushion are intact, though the cushions are not fastened using the screws. There is a scuff mark on the leather seat cushion the size of a quarter as shown. Along with the upside down heart cut out design, used often in English Arts & Crafts furniture, the unusual shaping of the legs & arms & the arched seat rails make this an interesting and popular form.
